Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 1982) is a well-known American actress. Most notably, she appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Originating from Worthington Ohio she left high school to move into Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. The year 2001 was a difficult one for her, but despite financial struggles, she was able to secure her first big performance in the video online series Rachel's Room as the lead character. She went on to earn an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder set in Greenwich. Grace played Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She was the main role for two seasons, and was awarded an award for her performance, a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to pursue a more significant role in film, appearing opposite Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. The actress has also appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club both in 2007 and Taken with Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She is a Gyllenhaal. She's the child of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit younger than Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was a teenager She began working as a small part-time actress for her father. She also appeared in Donnie Darko along with her twin brother. Her subsequent roles included Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, both 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was nominated for the Golden Globe Award in both the drama Sherrybaby (2005) and the love story Secretary (2002). Both movies were critically acclaimed. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. She was nominated to win an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her role on the film Crazy Heart, (2009). The roles she played in subsequent films include Nanny McPhee as well as in the Big Bang and Hysteria. Her other roles include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 Action thriller) and musicians in Frank (2014, drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as her role as the Kindergarten teacher. Gyllenhaal was the writer and director of her first feature film, The Lost Daughter in 2021. The thriller that dealt with psychological issues was awarded the Best Screenplay Award from the Venice International Film Festival. The film was also nominated for The Academy Award of Best Adapted Screenplay.
